Logistic Mobile App
Designed the User interface for Integrated logistics Management mobile application for Inspirage, used by Nahdi Medical company, one of the largest pharmacy chains in the Middle East. This app helped in reducing the dependencies on manual entry of events while shipments are moving from one warehouse to another Its key features include: Manage shipments, Authorization for driver pick-up, track etc.

Objective
“I don’t have control of my shipments once they leave my facility.” This is the most common problem stated by logistics service providers.
Some of the queries were:
What quantity has been picked up?
Was the delivery complete, or did the driver miss a delivery?
How much has been delivered?
Was there any shortage or damage?
Are there time stamps for the driver’s arrival and departure?
Solution
Given the dexterity and savviness of most users today, a more cost effective approach to overcome such challenges is to leverage the capabilities of the smartphone. So a mobile application was developed which will work in concert with the Oracle Transportation Management.
Some of its Core Features and Capabilities:
• Manage shipments : View / confirm / decline shipments.
• View shipment details.
• Multiple language capabilities and support.
• Authorization for driver pick-up.
My Process
Prior to designing the app, I researched who the users are and anticipated their situations. I have worked alongside the business analyst to understand the requirements, user flow, and the wireframes. Since it will be used by fleet drivers, the goal was to keep it simple and easy to use. The user should easily find the shipments, and once accepting it, the options like pickup and drop location should be readily available on the screen. The user should be able to record the pickup events like reported at gate, gate-in, items loaded, gate-out, and similarly for delivering. The user should be able to scan or capture images of the loaded shipment, and there should be provisions to keep note of damage and differences in quantity. Last but not least, a signed copy of the customer's acceptance.
